Correction!! For some reason it would only let me change my name with a _ at the end of SoRRoW. New name is GoDs_SoRRoW_ Its the best I could do.

Ya its fun but it keeps freezing's my ps3.its done it 5times since 10 this morning and its only 12:30

it never froze on me. Just took forever to download the updates and then all the game data. When I was finally done it said my save data utility was corrupted. If it says that for any of you, all you have to do is delete the socom game data utility and sign back into the game and it should work. Everything seems to be working fine and the game is pretty cool. I get out of work around 630 and will be on when I get home.

Ya i deleted all my socom data and reinstalled all of it and i have not froze yet.

I've been tryin to jump on for 4+ hours. I've got that save data error forever. Tried to Delete and reinstall 5 times, even contacted Sony(1+hours in wait time) the tech said they're fully aware of the issue and they're working on it. She even told me about Sorrows tip, tried, failed, reinstalled, tried, failed. Fuck Socom, I'm gettin bent and watchin my Phillies! Hopefully tomorow will be a better Socom experience. Fuck Sony, let's go Philles!!!!

Dont be to dicouraged. Servers are really jacked up anyway. Give it a couple days to get fixed. I tried getting on for a few hours and kept getting booted. After a while it said it was unable to connect. Im giving up for today. Will try again tomorrow....

sounds like Sc is having alot of problems

they are pretty good for now.but alot of people jumped on last night and servers was really bad

Thanks for the encouragment Sorrow, I'm just fustrated as hell. All this hype over this game and so far this and the Beta have been nothing but problems. To say I'm fustrated is putting it mildly. Also my bad for missing your chat invites, my Phillies were winning! Go Phills!! Anyway I'll get with you later.
Ok, another day of this Socom install/corrupt data mess. Well, I'll be deleting and reinstalling again. Hope the sixth times a charm, wish me luck.........

Like Icearmy said it was a CRAZY night last night trying to get on. I was on before I came to work and it seems like everything ran pretty smooth. Im at work right now and should be home within the next couple of hours. See you all on there.

Yea, it wasnt a matter of figuring it out, the retarted thing just wouldnt let me log in. But it finally let me on the next day. I don't know if the aggravation was worth it, but so far I like it. Actually, I really like it! Still dealing with some server issues but it's working alot better than the first night. With a little time this could be a slammin game!

alright, for those of you who may not have Confrontation yet heed an update...The server is slooowly getting better. The loggin issue isn't a big problem luke it was a week ago, there was only day that I've had trouble getting on since the first week. Lagg is still an ongoing problem it seems to depend on the time of day/number of players on, which in my opinion is to he expected. I'm not a hugh fan of the mic, it functions well but the ear piece is uncomfortable. I have small ear canals and both supplied rubber fittings are way to large, so I end up switching the mic from ear to ear every 20-30 minutes. GoDs_Rain agrees, maybe others will have better luck. No biggie, I think I'll go back to my Sansung. Also, the clan is expanding, it's like a family reunion. GsE members of old are back on and the new members seem pretty cool too! It almost nastalgic everytime I jump on (no homo). Overall, for me...things have improved drastically. The first day I was ready to bodyslam my PS3, now can't but the controller down. For those of you who havent made the switch, hope to see you guys soon. Happy gaming!!

I kinda like the mic, it seems comfortable to me and the ability to talk and hear is very good on it in my opinion. I guess it depends on the size of your ear lol
